Jill Colella earned a master's degree at the University of Maryland in English literature, specializing in Vietnam War narratives in film and literature. Ms. Colella, the daughter of a Vietnam veteran, founded The Children of Vietnam Combat Veterans Project in 1997 to speak to the specific concerns of families of veterans. She is the author of After Vietnam: War Stories from a Veteran's Daughter, a memoir of the effects her father's service in Vietnam had on her family life.

This gives a good summary and analysis as well as a brief but concise description of each character. It helped me recall details after I read the book.
used it for a class, very hard read but gave insights to things I hadn't thought of prior.
It helped with reading this difficult book.
This is a good guide for "The Things They carried.".
Some interesting parts but a difficult read; just not smoothly written.
Had to write a 5 page essay on The Things They Carried, and it really helped! Can't beat Cliffs Notes!
